How can your dog help save a life?

Just like people, dogs have diseases or injuries that require blood transfusions. The Veterinary Health Center needs volunteer blood donors to ensure that every patient in need can be treated.

Update on Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza

Due to the highly contagious nature of HPAI, the VHC is implementing strict precautions to reduce the risk of exposure of hospital patients to this virus. The Exotics Zoological Medicine Service will receive poultry and avian wildlife species (especially ducks, geese, swans, crows/blue jays, and raptors) on a case by case basis. If you have questions, please call in advance, 785-532-5690.
