- Captive born on 08/14/96
- History of renal calculi since 1999
- Ankylosis of distal caudal vertebrae noted on annual exam in January, 2006
Physical Examination
- Performed under general anesthesia
- Heart rate: 200 beats per minute
- Respiratory rate: 16 breaths per minute
- Weight: 3.56 kg
- Dental calculus
- Muscle atrophy and crepitus of right rear limb
- Sensitivity on flexion of right tarsus
Plan
- CBC: lymphopenia; rare polychromasia and moderate crenation of red blood cells
- Serum Biochemistry: hyperphosphatemia, hyperkalemia, mildly increased ALP and CK
- Urinalysis: trace ketones
- Radiographs of hind limbs/pelvis
