Paws of Comfort: Navigating Animal Grief Together
This group is a compassionate space for individuals who are navigating the unique journey of grieving their beloved animal companions. Our monthly support group offers a supportive community where participants can share their experiences, find solace, and gain coping strategies. Led by the VHC’s veterinary social worker, Paws of Comfort provides a safe haven for discussing the profound impact that the loss of a cherished animal companion can have on one’s life. We want to normalize animal companion grief and the complexities that arise with navigating such a challenging time. Participants can find solace in stories of remembrance, coping strategies shared among friends, and the communal understanding that you’re not alone in your feelings.
