Veterinary Health Center
Welcome
Welcome to the Veterinary Health Center (VHC) at Kansas State University. Whether your animal is a new patient, life-long visitor, or a recent referral, we are honored that you and your referring veterinarian have trusted the VHC to provide needed veterinary services.
The model of training veterinary students in a teaching hospital at Kansas State University has been in place for nearly 100 years. VHC team members include veterinary clinicians, DVM graduate house officers in training, veterinary students and valued nursing / assistant staff members. The VHC strives to provide exceptional care for your animal(s), from high quality routine healthcare to state-of-the-art advanced therapy for seriously ill patients. VHC caregivers routinely exceed service expectations.
Many VHC patients are referred by regional clinicians; VHC team members acknowledge and respect contributions from these doctors. An important component of the VHC mission is to provide assistance to local and regional veterinarians so they can best serve animal owners and producers.
VHC clinicians and house officers are highly regarded; evidenced by hospital services that often exceed industry standards. VHC team members have deep appreciation for animals, honoring the human-animal bond, and recognizing that your pet is a member of your family. Similar to the status our pets hold in our lives.
The VHC maintains approximately 55 senior clinician veterinarians and a strong complement of assistant and nursing staff members to provide care for your animal. When your pet or production animal requires routine medical care, our general practice veterinarians are among the finest in the profession. When a specialist is required, we have a well-trained collection of content experts.
Thank you for your patronage. We are committed to serving, teaching and healing. The need for exceptional service has drawn you and many others to the VHC. Your animal(s) deserves exceptional care and that is exactly what we strive to provide.
