Interpretation

Radiographic Impressions:

Findings consistent with otitis media. Differentials should include inflammatory, infectious disease, or neoplasia.

Bacteriology:

Hemolytic Escherichia coli and Pasteurella multocida from ear swab.

Histopathology:

Chronic lymphoplasmacytic, suppurative and histiocytic otitis externa. Consistent with inflammatory polyp.
