Radiographs and Ultrasound

To evaluate area in question

Radiographs:

• Small avulsion fracture of the lateral proximal metatarsal three, associated with the origin of the suspensory ligament. Area of sclerosis on metatarsal 3, associated with the bone fragment. Mild DJD of her distal hock joints.

Ultrasound:

• Suspensory Desmitis, in the area of the avulsion fracture. Mild amount of effusion within the tarsal sheath and digital sheath.

Diagnosis:

• Proximal Suspensory Desmitis with proximal avulsion fracture.
