Interpretation

Radiographic findings:

• There is lucency of the dorsal aspect of the cranial end plate of the sacrum. There is an approximately 3 mm in length bone opacity cranial to this lucency within the plane of the lumbosacral space. There is subluxation of the right coxofemoral joint and incongruency of this joint as well.

Radiographic Impressions:

• Changes described at the lumbosacral space may be consistent with early discospondylitis. Osteochondrosis is considered much less likely. Recommend CT of this region for further evaluation if clinically indicated. Mild hip dysplasia of the right coxofemoral joint.
