Interpretation

Radiographic findings:

• There is moderate segmental distention of the small intestine. There is mottled soft tissue and gas opacity within multiple loops of small intestine. On the left lateral view, there is an irregular soft tissue opacity within the pylorus.

Radiographic Impressions:

• Findings are consistent with mechanical ileus of the small intestine. Suspect pyloric luminal foreign body.
